
In the gentle hillcountry of the north of the Moldavia, in the Bucovina, there are a range of cloisters which are unique world-wide.
They all were erected as thanks for achieved victories against the Turks. The special about that churches are the frescos outside, which added some years later. These were thought as 'bible for the poors',
since the population in the country at that time didn't understand the Church-Slavic and addition to this, the churches were too small to lodge the entire community.
